In June of this year, during 116 degree weather and no wind, my 71 year old Sweet Gum decided to shed a very large limb which fell across property lines and pulled down my neighbor’s electricity and smashed the heck out of my front garden. The tree had a number of limbs that were in the high voltage electrical zone so the tree company I selected would need to work with the PGE/Asplundh crew for removal of limbs in their space. I had used J&F Tree in the past and had a good experience so they were the only company I called to appraise the damage and provide an estimate. The Asplundh crew took down their branches and left the wood from that effort piled around the trunk of the damaged tree. Several weeks later the J&F crew came on site and removed/chipped all the wood from Asplundh’s effort, flush cut Sweet Gum, removed wood, ground out the stump and chased roots and removed hazardous dead wood from large fir near driveway. The crew worked together like clockwork and the cleanup was flawless. I appreciate their positive attitude and attention to detail.
